So strange that this was a universal form of torture/punishment.

I don’t really mind the tar and feathering so much. It’s the washing out my mouth with soap that i detest.

are you an idiot? to post something like that just shows your ingnorance and lack of knowledge. My grnadparents told me about tar and feathering they watched their friends get tar and feathered. YOur skin is singed and burned by the burning hot liquid and then you get humilated as they put feathers on you. Most of the time they beat you or strip you before hand to add to the humiliation. Further your horizon. Read the poem ” Between the world and me” by richard wright. MAybe then you’ll gain some understanding.

Interesting. I think that it’s safe to say that most of us are pretty removed from the reality of tar and feathering. It has certainly become more of a cartoon situation than a serious matter. True, the whole thing sounds horrifying. That being said, I don’t think Thom is an idiot at all.

Get a life skank, a little sense of humor wouldn’t hurt you either. To take yourself and everything else in life so seriously must not be a hell-of-a-lot of fun. Pretty sure you are likely an Obama voter. Moron!
