Found this great toy shrine while biking around Ladd’s. Perhaps you’ve seen it?
Easter Sunday means chilling with ghost dog Deekin. And the fam of course.

Just putting my two cents in at SweetGifs.

You may recall the poster I did for the Wolfman Faries a
month or so back. Here’s a few of the assembled fellows
getting precocious in our house plants.

The large one is the actual scale if you were to cut him out
of the original poster. I made the small ones because the
scale seemed to suit them far better.

Frolic!

Besides cutting out paper shapes and gumming up my hands
with glue-stick, I’ve been working on a block print card that
will hopefully be at a post-worthy stage soon.

So I’m thinking A Shameless Blog may evolve a little. I started
this blog as part of a project based around effective networking
and self promotion, my plan was to have the content revolve
strictly around that subject and my endeavours therein.

I’ve certainly strayed from this subject already. Just wanted
to make it official. There will still be posts about self-promotional
this and that but there will also be a wider scope of interest as
well. Just thought I’d get that off my chest.

PHEW!

Before my holiday spirit runs screaming out the door I thought I’d post up
this lovely card sent to me by Julie from Perfectbound. I was so eager to open
my not-bill mail that I almost completely missed the clever little carry over
from envelop to card. Nice detail ladies! You may not be able to tell from my
photo, but it’s letter-pressed on sparkly blue paper. These girls love paper.

The Acorn is a coffee shop in Portland that never ceases to make me happy. They pull a mean espresso and they’re quick on the draw with fresh banter. In addition to that, they make the sweetest business cards. All handmade, all awesome. Some of my favorites are by Little Jeff (Big Jeff being the owner.) I can’t really sum up exactly why I like these (not in coherent sentences anyway) but I spent about 5 minutes going through their thick stack of cards going “WHA!” “YES!” Whoaaaaa.” “Sweet!” and so on. Today I picked up the one on the bottom with the eyeball, hotdog(?) and frog riding the mystic pyramid.

Let’s take a closer look:

Apparently my blog silence wasn’t meant for too long. Figured I’d throw a picture in from my shoot with Matt yesterday. Behold, more fake work environments. More chaotic, perhaps a little closer to the real way I work, exception being that I try not to have only my own work up on the wall, that being narcissistic. However, I do like working with a mirror right above my monitor, so I might gaze upon myself whilst creating. Sure.

Point being: not my real workspace.
